Why we're Chasing Joy

Joy isn't something you stumble upon. It's cultivated... through honest conversation, intentional living, and the courage to grow. Each week, we sit down to explore what that journey actually looks like.

We talk to people doing the work: therapists, coaches, creatives, and everyday individuals who've decided that wholeness is worth pursuing. No performance. No easy answers. Just real conversation.

Bryan Flores Bryan is a strategist, builder, and student of human behavior who has spent over two decades inside some of the world's largest communications companies, pioneering new ways to understand customers, measure value, and drive growth. But what matters most to him isn't what companies sell... it's how people feel. Through his work, Bryan has come to believe that the same forces shaping markets — data, technology, and behavioral insight — can be used to help people live more meaningful, connected, and joyful lives. As the Founder of JoyFindr and Chasing Joy, these are just some of the ways he's putting that belief into practice.
Spencer Fischer Spencer has been a radio personality in Southern California for over 25 years, building a career rooted in authentic connection — predominantly in and around Santa Barbara and Ventura County. Known for his warm presence and community spirit, he dedicates much of his time hosting events for philanthropic causes across the region. Chasing Joy marks Spencer's first intentional step inward, as he begins exploring his own personal inner landscape and sharing that journey openly with listeners.
Wayne Randolph Wayne is a certified spiritual director, founder of To the Root, and co-founder of JoyFindr. His work is grounded in nearly fifteen years as a theology and leadership instructor, where he guided students through questions of faith, identity, and purpose — often through immersive service experiences in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. Trained in the Narrative Enneagram, Wayne helps individuals and groups cultivate deeper awareness, presence, and connection to their inner life and to the Divine in everyday experience. Through JoyFindr and Chasing Joy, he explores how ancient wisdom and modern life can come together to help people reconnect with what matters most.
